We believe that the legal recognition of self-determination for our community will be an addition to all our rights as citizens of Galeana, Chihuahua, and Mexico.
We also believe in collaborating with all levels of the Mexican government: federal, state, and municipal.
To achieve this, we need to follow the corresponding legal process in the Mexican courts, and if necessary, the international court. This is the first case of its kind seeking our rights as a pueblo equiparable, if and when we are successful at achieving this recognition it will pave the way for other cultural minorities to seek their own.
